Introduction:
Critical Radiant Flux is the main parameters of the fire risk for flooring materials, It reflects the burning and spreading ability of flooring material specimen under external heat radiation conditions, It is an important index of combustion classification for building products. According to FAR 25.856 Part VI, this apparatus measures the critical radiant of combustion floor coverings, through the radiation environment of test chamber. It is can also be used to measure the critical radiation of the cellulose insulation floor material.

Features
1.All structural components of FAR 25.856 Part VI flame propagation tester are made of stainless steel, appearance,and corrosion resistance;
2.The material of the test box is made of board (calcium + silicate), 13±1mm thick and 650 kg/m3 nominal density.
3.The test box shall be 1397 mm (55 inches) long and 495 mm (19.5 inches) deep, higher than 710 mm (28 inches) to 762 mm (30 inches) of the specimen (maximum). Side wall, bottom and top are insulated by fibrous ceramic insulation material
4.The panel is equipped with 1321 *305 mm (52 *12 inch) air-tight, high-temperature glass windows to observe the samples during the test.
5.The radiation plate should be placed in the test box at 30 degrees with the horizontal plane of the sample.
6.The length of the combustion tube is 71 mm. The blue inner flame is 19 mm. It is larger than 51 mm from the ground.
7.K-type thermocouples imported from tha UAS. Accuracy 1℃
8.Heat flux meter imported from the USA, measuring range 80KW/㎡; Stainless steel heat flow meter support frame supported by 3.2mm stainless steel plate, movable.
9.FAR 25.856 Part VI flame propagation test apparatus is equipped with two kinds of stainless steel sample tooling.
10.Radiation plate test box is a closed equipment, including built-in chimney and other components.
11.A thermocouple can be inserted on the back of the box. The thermocouple is 279 mm from the back wall of the box and 292 mm from the right side of the box wall. It is located 51 mm below the radiation plate. The temperature accuracy of the thermocouple is 2-degree data collection and analysis software.

•Various data acquisition and preservation: picture monitoring, real-time temperature curve, historical curve and data query;
•Data USB export, historical curve and data inquiry, printing;

2.FAR 25.856 Part VI flame propagation tester has the functions of sound alarm and alarm accident display.
3.The control box has USB/RS232 serial port, which can be connected with computer operation control and print test report freely.
