IEC 61125 ASTM D2440 Insulating Oil Oxidation Stability Testing Machine

This instrument is suitable to determine oxidation stability of unused hydrocarbon based insulating liquids under accelerated conditions. The insulating liquid sample is maintained at 120℃ in the presence of a solid copper catalyst whilst bubbling a constant flow of air. The degree of oxidation stability is estimated by measurement of volatile acidity, soluble acidity and sludge.

1. This instrument is bench-mounted, consisting of a heating bath and a precision flow meter. The stainless steel cover is equipped with holes for placing sample bottles.
2. Ceramic-coated stainless steel structure.
3. Eco-friendly metal bath heating reduces harm to human body caused by oil fumes, with excellent thermal insulation performance.
4. Stainless steel heater.
5. Precision flow meter with needle valve, flow range: 0~120 mL/min.
6. Air filter with glass wool.
7. Gas purification system, including one sodium hydroxide bottle, one sulfuric acid washing bottle and one safety bottle.
8. Microprocessor thermostat with PID control, digital temperature display, accuracy: 0.1℃, equipped with Pt100 RTD temperature probe.
9. Operating temperature range: ambient temperature ~ 200℃. Safety protection against overheating and low liquid level.
