Ferrous Wear Concentration versus PQ Index Wear Debris Tester
This PQ analyzer aims at rapid quantitative analysis of ferromagnetic wear particles in oil samples, and the PQ index, which is a dimensionless quantitative figure, and has a good linear relationship with the assay and size of the abrasive particles in the sample. Because the PQ index is more sensitive to large-size ferromagnetic abrasive particles, it is usually used in conjunction with elemental analysis to improve the fault detection rate.
Operate with the front panel button and knob, and display the operation options through the form-based interface in the display screen. The user can select the suitable testing method and specify the testing data through the detailed settings, and can also quickly detect the oil through the default setting. The test results will be displayed in real time during testing.
Samples must be tested in an oil bottle. This ferrous wear debris test instruments has been configured with 2ml special oil sample bottles and matching conversion rings for users. After shaking, the tested PQ index has nothing to do with the total amount of oil in the sample bottle if higher than the critical height, which is about 8mm, please ensure more than 8mm when testing. The large ferromagnetic particle will subside under the action of gravity and magnetic force when existed in the oil sample, and the PQ index will increase gradually, through which it can be concluded whether large-size ferromagnetic abrasive particles exist.

Repeat measure of stable oil samples (such as 750 standard samples) for 100 times, and 90% data are within ±1% (>500PQ) or ±5PQ (<500PQ).
