This test method covers the evaluation of the resistance of a lubricating grease to washout by water from a bearing, when tested at 38 °C and 79 °C (100 °F and 175 °F) under the prescribed laboratory conditions. It is not to be considered the equivalent of service evaluation tests. Precision and bias was determined using grease ranging from NLGI 3 to 0 grades in the research report.
1.The case of water washout tester is made of good quality glazed steel plate,which is reliable.
2.The bearing chamber and case can meet requirements of standard completely.
3.The stainless steel tand has inlet and outlet pipes,the bearing chamber is aluminum,copper chromium circulating pump,1/4 HP motor.
4.The heater is stainless steel.
5.The temperature controller is integrated with tempeature controlling and display.It also has micro-processor PID controller.The accuracy is ±0.1°C,tempeature probe is PT100 RTD,working tempeature is ambient~100°C.The working tempeature is usually 37.8 ± 0.1°C and 79 ± 0.1°C.
6. The rotation speed of motor with belt is 600 ± 30 rpm.
7.The design of motor and belt can start the circulating pump with start measuring bearing.
8.The regulator and by-pass valve can adjust the flow rate of 1mm capillary to 5 ± 0.5 ml/s.
